There are few things I like more than those people who can socialize with absolutely anyone for long periods of time, even if they have never seen them before in their lives. I always look around for awhile to find at least one of "those people" at shows because otherwise it can be slightly boring.
You always know when it's one of "them" when they bump into you and don't just say sorry, they grab your shoulder and smile and give you a full sentence about why they bumped into you and how sorry they are.
And then 20 minutes later.. you have had the most random fucking conversation on the planet.
I love those people.
Last night was definitely one of those places just jammed packed with those people. I could totally sense it. Just the way everyone looked at one another. It's a nice feeling. You don't feel like anyone is judging anyone. They just wanna have a good talk with random strangers.
The show was fun last night. I bumped into some fascinating people. Oh, and I don't know how I've been to so many of their shows without meeting their manager, but I met him for the first time last night. At the end I never said goodbye to the band. They probably wondered why I randomly vanished.
I'm slightly disappointed that I never got my cupcake. One of the girls made the band six cupcakes, and there are only four people in the band so they were going to give the other two to me and my friend, but we left without them.
"Jeremiah, is there anything interesting mixed into these?"
Something you always have to ask when Jeremiah offers you something. lol.
His response: "I don't know, let's find out!"
