Taking Chances

If you don't want to hear me rant about teacher shit, skip down to the NON-TEACHERSHIT portion.

Over the last few days about 4 or 5 teachers have told me that they're considering quitting. They keep saying that the school is getting too dangerous. Well, I have to agree. I feel safe in my classroom, but definitely not outside of my classroom.

In other news, today I was sitting in the back of the room grading papers while my co-op was watching the kids. Next thing you know, a cop is banging on the door. One of our kids was throwing things at parked cars through the window.

Drama drama drama.

Oh, and as if my hands aren't full enough.. the kids who were taken out of the normal classrooms due to dangerous behavior are being transitioned back into our classrooms on Monday. And of course I have about 5 of these kids. Sounds fun.

NON-TEACHERSHIT

This weekend will be busy. Tomorrow I work at the coffee house, then I'm seeing a band that I'm friends with perform in Kensington (Yeah I know, I'll try to NOT get stabbed). Then on Sunday I'm going to a wedding. Where I'm going to puke all over the place. (Weddings gross me out more and more as I get older).

And then I'll bust into my school on Monday with a hangover and running eyeliner.

Fun times.

I'm really hoping that I can get my hair cut this weekend. I used to cut it myself but I haven't in.. 4 years? Because Kevin's aunt works at Regis and she cuts/colors it fo' free! But maybe I'll take a chance and just chop that shit off on my own. Why not? I'll probably die in the hallway at the school sometime soon anyway.
