Everything makes sense:
As I was putting my 60 day notice in the little mail slot at my landlord's office, I had a moment where I was nervous. I was still holding onto the envelope but it was half way in the slot, ready to be dropped. My heart started racing for a brief second and then I looked to my right. A little boy hiding in the bushes with a beautiful little smile. He looked up at me. He said hi and I said hi. And somewhere in that exchange, I dropped the envelope without even noticing. I smiled at the little boy and trekked up to my apartment.
I'm excited for change. I've always been one to embrace new things and appreciate stirring shit up. I'm looking for a new job. moving to a new place, speed dating, seeing my friends' beautiful smiles more than ever, writing more genuinely than ever, thinking harder than ever, trying to learn for the sake of learning, and most importantly: I am networking with artists of all different types as well as with people who are in my career path.
I just feel like tons of good things are to come. The sunshine is shining on me extra hard this year.
