Yesterday I felt free as the wind. I parked my car in north philly next to an old cafe and walked to center city. I encountered so many beautiful smiling faces along the way. I ate some free food at a vegetarian food festival, then my friend and I (we met up at the festival) enjoyed margaritas in the beautiful sunlight in old city. We then drove to our friend's cute little home in south philly where we packed up the band van and headed back to where I started out, north philly, to watch them perform.
I also bought gifts for my poppa bear. Cupcakes for all of us to share (from a cute little bakery in northwest philly) and a bottle of Sailor Jerry's. He'll be happy. I love my dad.
